Where is Nova Bridal Studio located?

We are located in Headford town. If you are coming in from Galway city, you take a right at the traffic lights and you will see us on your left, we are next door to Carol’s Barbers.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, we are by appointment only. We strive to provide our brides with a relaxed and personal experience that you can cherish for lifetime, and we want to give you our undivided attention.

There is an appointment fee of €20. This ensures that we can provide you with an exceptional experience, complete with personalised service.

What will my appointment look like?

Our appointments run for 2 hours, this will allow for plenty of time for us to help you find your dream dress and to allow you and your guests to enjoy the appointment to the fullest without feeling rushed. Our studio can accommodate the bride plus 3 special guests. If there is someone you wanted to be part of the appointment, you can feel comfortable to arrange a video call. 

Once you arrive at Nova Bridal Studio, our stylist will make you and your guests feel very welcome and find out your vision for your wedding dress over some bubbles, coffee/tea and luxurious treats specially crafted by a Michelin Star pastry chef.

To secure your dress, we will require a 50% deposit (Please Note: once you sign the deposit form, there is no changes, exchange, return or refunds but we will go through everything with you in your appointment). Once your beautiful dress arrives at the studio, we will contact you via email to make the “oh so exciting” appointment, to try on your dream dress before you take it home!

What should I bring to the appointment?

We highly recommend to wear nude underwear as it works best. If you already have a pair of killer wedding heels, you can bring them with you to get an idea of the full look. But don’t worry, we will have heels at the studio. A hair clip to put up your hair.

What is the price range?

Our gowns range from €2,500 to €3,400. We have some stunning gowns with handsewn beading and the most stunning lace, which is reflected by our prices.

What is the lead-time of the order?

This is very much dependent on the designer. Our lead-time can range from 4 to 6 months. We work with our designers to shorten this time as much as possible. If you will need a “rush order”, a fee will be applied by the designer.

What should I know about the gown sizing?

It's important to understand that bridal sizing is different from regular clothing sizes. Each designer has their own size chart, so your gown size may not match your usual high street size.

While most of our sample gowns are in sizes 12 to 16, we can order the dress to the closest numerical dress size after we take your measurements. We will be expanding our size range in the future. A sample dress might not fit perfectly, but your stylists will clip the dresses to give you a better sense of how they will look in your ideal size.

Do you offer alterations?

No, unfortunately we do not offer alterations, however, we are working with an incredibly talented seamstress in Galway city. Our brides will get an exclusive discount from our seamstress of 20%.
